Axel Zwingenberger, master of boogie-woogie, has played during the course of his career more than 3000 performances in more than 40 countries and in nearly all of the great concert halls in the world, including the Carnegie hall in New York, the Konzerthaus in Vienna and the Hamburg Opera. His solo albums are recognised today as valuable testaments of the combination of black and white, young and old, experience and enthusiasm – and furthermore records of the history of boogie-woogie.
